Synod Pilgrimage Trip

The Synod of Lakes and Prairies is sponsoring a pilgrimage October 16-20 to sites in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama to better understand the history and heritage of race relations. This Sankofa Pilgrimage is designed to help participants learn from the past to ensure a better future. The group will be an intentionally multi-racial group. The cost is $1,300 for meals, snacks, double-occupancy rooms, bus transportation, admission into all sites, and leadership. Each participant will need to get themselves to Memphis by October 15 so they are ready to go on Wednesday morning.  This is open to pastoral leaders (a great CE event) as well as members. Families are welcome.
